PITYRIASIS

The common dandruffs known as Pityriasis are usually non-inflammatory and can be either temporary or long-lasting depending on the severity and cause.

Pityriasis can be caused by the imbalance of physical or mental states, bacterial infection, medication, nutrition, climate and, quite commonly, lack of correct hair and scalp care. Most conditions can be greatly minimised and often cured.Medicated anti-dandruff shampoos etc act only as a temporary, short-term treatment and, due to the strong active medication used in some products, a more sensitive, sore, red or even flakier problem can be experienced.
