Introduction
When people say they have a "dry scalp", they are often referring to dandruff.
Many of us are not aware that there are different types of dandruff. The scalp can be oily or dry depending on the activity of the sebaceous glands that produce a skin lubricating oil called sebum. Over-activity will cause an oily complaint and vice versa.
