Really warm welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I felt that Samantha really cared about my concerns and did a thorough assessment. It was so special to be seen by another black woman who could really understand how difficult my scalp and hair issues were, and the complexities of it which Eurocentric medicine and dermatology don’t capture. The cost of the appointment was a lot for me, but was worth it for how thorough the investigation was, her expertise and recommendations. This is the first time I felt my issues were understood in years I’ve been to other dermatologists, gps and hairdressers.
I randomly went into the clinic for advice about my hair and one of the consultants gave me fantastic advice out of her own free time and kindness. Looked like an amazing place to receive treatment!

I have been a long customer of the Spencer Clinic and thought it was time to write a review… to sum it up the treatment, advice and care given by the team has literally saved my hair. Everyone here is caring, knowledgeable and won’t do anything to your hair or scalp that will not be of benefit to you, I have seen the treatments work for myself and think for non invasive methods that actually work the pricing is extremely fair for what you are getting. I also love the informality of the clinic during treatments, rather than feeling like a hair loss clinic it feels like a day out at the salon which I think is important, as many of us who have experienced hair loss do not have the ability to enjoy general salon settings. I can only give a maximum of 5 stars but my rating would far exceed this. You might wonder why I still go if my hair is ‘saved’, my hair has never been as healthy as it is now due to the advice of Sam Stewart one of the trichologists and I continue to maintain my hair with the treatments as a preferred choice as all of their own formulated products are amazing on my very sensitive scalp and this is one salon / clinic I have never left feeling disappointed by.
What an amazing place Spencer Clinic is! If you have scalp or hair loss problems, Richard and his team of trichologists will not only provide you with treatment which actually works, they will also answer any questions or concerns that you may have sensitively and professionally.

I have been doing hair treatment for almost 3 months. Definitely my hair isn't falling anymore, it's already stronger and thicker. It stimulates the hair folicules and helps to relax the mind. Minoxidil is fantastic. The vitamins are helping to keep my body and mind healthier. Everything is helping to control my hair loss. Thank you very much Dr. Richard and all staff, you are very professional!
